Trekking in Aytepe (Beş Kayalar)

PROGRAM

After leaving Istanbul in the morning we set out for Aytepe. Here we have our first breakfast. Then we start our journey which will take approximately 1 hour. Our vehicles bring us to the beginning of the course and load our backpacks and start hiking.

On average, we will walk for 4 hours and we will start to walk to the place of Uncle Veysel at the bottom of Aytepe Valley for the first 30 minutes. After taking a short tea break here, we start our 45-minute walk to Şahin Tepe in Beşkayalar region, and after a 10-15-minute break watching the scenery, we go back to Uncle Veysel and prepare our lunch. After taking lunch, we continue to walk towards Servetiye Village.

We arrive at Servetiye Village, which is the point where we will take the car, with a walk of approximately 2.5 hours. The track is safe and 90% of it is a downhill walk. We walk along the dirt road in the canyon. On the way we meet two waterfalls. The first one is a bit far, but we can take a picture. A small waterfall on our way to the second waterfall. After the waterfall, we arrive at Servetiye Village by walking for about half an hour. Then return to Istanbul begins. We are in Istanbul around 19.00.

MEALS

Breakfast: Plenty of village breakfast in Yuvacık

Lunch: Sausage barbecue, mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant butter, halvah, fruit, cold drinks, wafers
