TSSF/CMAS 1-STAR DIVER COURSE
TSSF/CMAS One-Star Diver Training Program is divided into theoretical and practical training topics. Theoretical trainings aim at letting participants gain theoretical knowledge about diving and practical trainings aim at puting this knowledge into practice. Theoretical trainings consist of 12 courses and an additional course selected up to the preference of trainer.
During the underwater practices, you will learn communication signs to be used under water during your diving trainings, how to put on the material, techniques of entering to the water, techniques of lowering down under water, what to pay attention to while breathing, how to use buoyancy compensator equipment, how to take and remove the regulator in and out of your mouth that enables you to breathe, how to share your air with your friend, how to discharge water from your mask and how to remove and wear it under water, how to use your pallet more properly, how to get out of water and again put on your independent scuba diving equipment and weight belt in and out of water, simple first aid and rescue skills and what to pay attention to in a diving boat and also you will do comprehensive practices to look after the environment and yourself under the water. Practical underwater skills will be taught through shallow water practices and 5 sea diving practices overall.
Conditions of Participation
In order to join a 1-star training program, you must know how to swim and be at least 14 years old. Parent permission form is required for the candidates under 18 (the sample form is included on our federation's website). A health notification form stating that there is no condition to preventf you from doing scuba diving must be filled in by you (parents will fill in the form for the candidates under 18) and added to your training file (a sample of this document can be found on our federation's website). When necessary, a medical report is required.
So, What Does 1* Diver Mean?
S/he is a diver who knows basic diving subjects, can put on Scuba equipment and use it under the water, can dive into a depth of 18 meters at maximum in company with a 3* diving leader.
The Non-Inclusives in the Course Fee:
Transportation, accommodation, food and beverage and personal expenditures.
Professional photo shooting (Optional):
It includes model, objective or organizational shoots under water.
